The renown English newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, defined the Zlatni rat beach, situated in the tourist centre of the town of Bol, island of Brac, the most beautiful in Europe. Another recognition arrived from the tourist portal the Lonely Planet, that inserted the Zlatni rat beach amongst top ten world’s most beautiful beaches. The position of the beach, defined as the “surfing paradise”, has been particularly appreciated. The town of Bol on the island of Brac is the proof that the tourist-related-activities can be developed in a socially responsible manner. “It is one of the most enchanting Mediterranean tourist spots” concluded the authors.
